Lauren is a Los Angeles based fashion designer and Owner of Elle & Reid Consulting Firm. She held her last role as Vice President of Product Design and Development for the LA men's active lifestyle brand, Legends.

 

Lauren has always had a love for the arts and growing up in Boston, MA she was able to attend classes at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design as a kid. Her journey in fashion design began at Iowa State University where she majored in Apparel, Merchandising, Design & Production with a focus in Fashion Design and Minor in Creative Design. While attending, Lauren received a life changing opportunity to travel to Europe where she studied abroad at the prestigious London College of Fashion. Upon graduating, she worked for several companies and gained extensive knowledge of fit, patterns, product development and concept design to add to her repertoire. During her time as Senior Design Manager for Reebok, where she excelled in her role, unleashing iconic designs; one of which resulted in a US design patent for the fabric, concept and design of the Reebok franchise running jacket.

Her effortlessly intuitive outlook & creative point of view worked to propel her forward, allowing her to create for some of the most popular Fashion, Athleisure, Performance, and Streetwear brands in the world including Fabletics where she was Design Director. She was able to conceptualize and implement the Men's product line from the ground up. Lauren has also created for well known brands such as Juicy by Juicy Couture & Forever 21 as a Senior Design Manager. She has made a splash designing refreshing and unique lines for Legends and her pieces have been seen being sported by Logan Wilson of the Cincinnati Bengals, Jabari Banks on the hit series "Bel-Air", Al Horford of the Boston Celtics, Paul George and Marcus Morris of the LA Clippers, Floyd Mayweather, Matt Barnes, comedian Kevin Hart, rappers Drake, Quavo, Snoop Dogg, as well as social media influencers and models across Instagram.

Being one of the few women of color in the corporate fashion design industry, Lauren was determined to make her mark and has developed into nothing short of a dynamo.
